7 Lounges to Check Out This Fall in Boston

Fall_Lounges_Boston

Fall is a beautiful thing around Boston: Football is back, the B’s drop the first puck of the season, and it isn’t winter yet. Also, Fall is really when the city gets busy again –the students are back and the party scene is in full effect– but if you want to get away from the energy of a packed nightclub for a night, here are a couple of lounges we highly recommend.

Alibi

Alibi is a Boston classic, with service in the lounge or on the courtyard patio (seasonal, weather depending) of the old Charles St. Jail. Either is a great choice for a smaller group (less than 12), but don’t forget about the Lobby Lounge upstairs for a bigger group, too. I’d reccomend a few signature cocktails, like “The Fix Is In,” or “Rosemary’s Baby” to really get into the Fall spirit. Also, the Arancini is one of the most solid apps in the city. Check out Alibi here.

W Lounge

I’m a big fan of the W Lounge. The VIP tables are pretty isolated, which is a plus if you are looking for an intimate hangout. I’d suggest a carafe of sangria, and some Prosecco. Check it out  here

Red Lantern

Three words: TIKI DRINK MENU. Also, the food is delicious. But TIKI DRINKS. I’m a sucker for a drink with an umbrella in it, regardless of the season. Low table minimums, awesome food, and again: TIKI DRINK MENU. Trust me you definitely want to try out those tiki drinks and it’s as easy as clicking here.

Empire

Empire is over in Seaport, and is another cool spot for a low-key meetup. The menu is killer, and each of their 12 rooms have a unique aesthetic that set different tones. The bottle menu is extensive, the Opium Dream is a tasty cocktail, and the scorpion bowls are lethal. You can order group drinks like the scorpion bowls right through Tablelist, and definitely toss in a few bucks for a food spend. Enjoy Empire today.

Bond

Bond is located in the Langham, another historic landmark located in Boston’s original Federal Reserve Building. This is another spot that I’d recommend prepaying for a food and beverage spend along with your bottle orders, for drinks like the Lincoln or Franklin, as well as the charcuterie plates. Excellent spot any time of the year, impressive menu, and an all-around good choice for a night out. Enjoy this unique venue today by clicking here.
